As you traverse along the ground on any of the maps (the Island, The Center, Ragnarok, Aberration or Scorched Earth) you will come across fossil mounds which you are able to excavate. Inside the mounds, you'll find a few bones and if you're lucky you'll even find extra loot inside of one (signified by a special particle effect)! After you collect enough bones you’ll be able to craft several skins with the use of a Cooking Pot. Upcoming Structure Changes! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1403113792 Later this week we plan to roll out an update that will make some changes to our current structure decay rules. In essence, we are redefining what we consider a viable minimum base or set of structures. Structures which do not meet this definition will rapidly decay resulting in the ability to either destroy them by hand or have the server automatically destroy the structures when they are loaded/leave stasis. Â Our intent behind this change is to address structure spamming issues (pillar/foundation spam) which often takes place when players attempt to claim or grief different areas of the map in both PVE and PVP. We anticipate that this particular update will be iterative and there most likely will be additional adjustments in the coming weeks as we work to resolve this issue. Code of Conduct Updates! Beginning Thursday March 29th until April 10th, survivors will be able to experience the "Eggcellent Adventure" Event!
During Eggcellent Adventure, survivors will be able to collect special "Bunny Eggs" across the ARK from wild Bunny Dodo's and Bunny Oviraptor's. These Bunny Eggs can paint or used in special Cooking Pot recipes to craft holiday-themed items such as Bunny Ears, a Bunny Costume for the Procoptodon, are two brand new cosmetics: the Knitted Chick Hat and Egg Shell Hat for both survivor and dino!

Everyone's favourite early tame, the Parasaur, won't be receiving a visual update but will be receiving some handy ability upgrades to make it more useful for beginner survivors in TLC #2.Â
The Parasaur has found its voice in the form of a loud vocalization capable of notifying the player of surrounding danger and is even able to scare away smaller creatures when doing so. The call can be separated into the same categories as other creatures with a type of "turret mode" as well as the call can be done on command by the player, just like a roar.
Have issues with annoying Pegomastax or Ichthyornis stealing from you constantly while you're just trying to stroll down the beach? Got a Raptor pack hot on your heels? Have a Parasaur tag along with you and when of these pesky critters gets too close, your Parasaur will keep them at bay.
While riding your Parasaur, the Parasaur can send out a kind of echolocation that gives the player notice of where enemy players, tames,
